Do you think home school is a good idea for a child who has problems with strange adults?
I really want to go to home school, but my dad would have to see me everyday all day. He hates that idea. My grades are terrible in public school. Everything there is hurry hurry rush rush!!!
Help convincing father, my mom is totally fine with the idea.

Should I allow her to go back to public school or continue to home school her and let her also attend college (she attends college now)? She thinks she needs to be around 14 year olds instead of college students.

My daugther is 14 and in the 9th grade. Because of my illness, we need a home school tutor who will come to our house in Gulfport, Mississippi, to help her complete virtual online school courses (help her understand, ensure she completes all courses on time, etc).

I home school my two boys. We don't really use grades other than for Math and Spelling. Just wondering how you all feel about it.
Thanks

I have been home schooling my 8 year old daughter for 3 years, and now have an 8 month old son. I'm having trouble doing everything that needs to get done. I can't seem to stay motivated with school, even with accountability. We educate in the Charlotte Mason style.

I'm worrying about the fact that I'm a home school student and won't be able to get a standard high school diploma. However, I've completed all of the required courses for admission into UCF and my SAT score was definitely above average. Any home school students have advice?
I don't have a bad GPA. I meant average compared to the other UCF applicants, roughly 3.5.

Just wondering if there is some sort of testing.....and how do teens earn credits if they are home schooled in high school? What if they decide to go to a regular school? What will they ask to see from past learning?Thank you!
