I work with a woman who just told me that she and her boyfriend are going to home school one of their kids (who isn't behaving well in school)... they blame the school. Anyway, she has a high school diploma herself and her boyfriend is a high school drop out. They are supposedly going to home school this 15 year old.
Question: Don't people who home-school their kids have to have some kind of higher education?
Do you still get a high school diploma if you are home schooled in the state of new jersey?
I'm worrying about the fact that I'm a home school student and won't be able to get a standard high school diploma. However, I've completed all of the required courses for admission into UCF and my SAT score was definitely above average. Any home school students have advice?
I don't have a bad GPA. I meant average compared to the other UCF applicants, roughly 3.5.

I was just really wanting to know what I will need to do in order to home school? I cannot home school with my current public school so I am planning on enrolling into an online home school.Who will I need to tell so they will know I am going to school somewhere or do I not tell them anything.
